    « Its slope”Orthoplagia” has a negative angle and is one of the most significant climbing sites in Europe, which is a cliff hanging over 1,200 metres. Its peak, the famous “Plaka” was first reached by climbers in the 60’s after three 15-20-hour efforts. A climbing centre has been established to serve climber activities.

When can I do climbing?

Throughout the year.

Participation Requirements

In order to participate in this activity, you have to start from easy climbing fields and gradually continue to more difficult ones. You should be in good physical condition and not suffer from acrophobia. Ages: 10-60 years old.

What do I need to carry with me?

What you need to have with you is a pair of athletic shoes, comfortable clothes, a fleece jacket, a small backpack and a flask with water.

Necessary Equipment

A neoprene suit, helmets, ropes, harnesses, and eight figures.


What is canyoning?

Crossing of gorges using ropes and climbing equipment. A professional mountain guide accompanies a group of 6-8 people.

  • Pelion - Mylopotamos
  • Grevena - Spileon

  • Mountainous Pella - Chaos Gorge

When can I do canyoning?

Canyoning usually takes place in Greece between May to October.

Participation Requirements

In order to participate in this activity, you have to start from gorges of moderate difficulty. You can then gradually continue to more difficult gorges. You should not have acrophobia and have basic physical condition. Ages: 10-60 years old.

What do I need to carry with me?

What you need to have with you is a pair of shoes that will get wet, a swimming suit, a small backpack, a flask and a towel.

Necessary Equipment

A neoprene suit, helmets, ropes, harnesses, and eight figures.
